Chaitanya B is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java, SCRUM, System Design, Algorithms and Data Structures, Microservices, Distributed Systems, MySQL, MongoDB, and Linux. Currently, he is working as an ICPC North America Coding Coach at the University of Windsor. Chaitanya has previously worked with Amazon as a Programmer Analyst, where he was responsible for scaling and descaling for Amazon Prime Day Peak for a tier-1 service, writing integration tests and unit tests for tier-2 APIs, understanding legacy code, fixing issues, working on Carrier Migrations, and handling tickets, including after-hours issues. He has also taken interviews to hire engineers to the organization and mentored an intern. Prior to Amazon, Chaitanya worked with Zoho as a Software Developer, where he owned and developed the Chat Module and Integrations for ServiceDeskPlus Product. Chaitanya is skilled in Java, AWS, Microservices, MySQL, MongoDB, Spring Boot, Spring, Integration, Web, Javascript, and Azure. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from KL University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Computing from the University of Windsor, which he is expected to complete in 2023. With 2.68 years of relevant experience, Chaitanya is now open for Co-Op/Internship opportunities. He is a quick learner, a team player, and has a passion for solving complex problems.
